About Weatherford

Even though it's located just 30 miles west of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Weatherford is a world away from the hustle and bustle of big-city life. Here, folks enjoy a rural, distinctly North Texas lifestyle, and still have access to conveniences and opportunities of a major metropolitan area.

Weatherford offers a variety of unique activities and events, and many of the reflect the town's western heritage. One example is the Goodnight-Loving Festival, which celebrates a couple of legendary cattle drivers: Charles Goodnight and Oliver Loving. (Both were made famous in Larry McMurtry's novel, Lonesome Dove.) At the festival, you can enjoy a variety of western arts and crafts activities.

Weatherford is also known as the Cutting Horse Capital of the World. It's home to numerous nationally known professional trainers and hall-of-fame horses. And the cutting horse business is a major employer in the Weatherford area.

And, Weatherford is considered the Peach Capital of Texas. Every year, the Parker County Peach Festival is held in downtown Weatherford. The event typically draws more than 60,000 visitor, who come to enjoy arts and craft displays, live music, and the Peach Pedal Bike Ride.

These are just a few of the reasons to visit Weatherford. If you'd like more information, let us know. We'll be glad to help.

Loved this sweet cottage! It was so cute and decorated so beautifully. LeeAnn was amazing the first time we spoke on the phone. I highly recommend it. We wish we could have stayed longer. Checked out other B&B’s in area, hands down we made the right decision.
Absolutely Wonderful. Julie S, Trip Advisor
We have stayed at the Rose Garden B&B twice now. It feels like a second home. It is meticulously decorated with beautiful, thoughtful care to detail for an 18th Century appeal. The amenities are boundless, the beds are extravagantly made and extremely comfortable. There is absolutely nothing lacking from bath amenities to kitchen utensils and cookware. I honestly cannot say enough about this little bit of heaven!
A Trip Back in time. Queenofharts2, Trip Advisor
This is the prettiest, coziest B&B we've ever been to! The owners are wonderful people who paid attention to every detail. We had everything we needed and more! We will absolutely recommend this place to everyone we know.
